Subject Taster Days 2017

Our Subject Taster Days are opportunities for young women in Year 12 to visit the college for a day, to participate in a range of academic sessions introducing them to university study, meet current students, and to hear all about the admissions process to the University of Cambridge.

This year, we are holding Subject Taster Days in the following subjects:

16 February 2017 – Classics (deadline for applications: 10 February 2017)

20 February 2017 – Human, Social and Political Sciences (deadline for applications: 10 February 2017)

13 March 2017 – History and Modern and Medieval Languages (please note that this event is for students interested in studying History, Modern and Medieval Languages, or a combination of the two. Deadline for applications: 3 March 2017)

31 March 2017 – Biological Natural Sciences (deadline for applications: 17 March 2017)

There is no payment for the day and lunch will be provided free of charge, however students should arrange their own transport to and from the event.

Students need not be accompanied by an adult and all sessions will be for students only; parents and/or guardians will not be able to attend. It is the school’s responsibility to seek permission from students’ parents/guardians in the usual manner, and it should be made clear that the students and school are responsible for students’ behaviour and safety.

To register interest in attending one of the Subject Taster Days, please fill out the booking form by the appropriate deadline.  Places will be confirmed shortly after the booking deadline has passed.
