Associates
The Newnham Associates
The Associates is a group of 60 alumnae whose purpose is to further Newnham's interests as a place of education, learning and research. They provide assistance and support in a variety of ways, including:
- offering careers support and advice to students, on an individual basis and by running networking events and arranging work placements
- providing networking opportunities for young graduates and one-to-one careers support to all Newnhamites
- using money from subscriptions and donations to help with new initiatives in College
- supporting and facilitating fundraising
- providing three members to serve on Governing Body as Associate Fellows
Associates are not proposed or appointed by the College, but are elected for a ten year term by the current group of Associates. If you would like to know more, or are interested in becoming an Associate, please see the Associates'
