Gardens Mound Project

As featured in the Roll Letter 2010, the redevelopment of the Mound project is progressing. Click here to view the redevelopment plan. The first phase of the project, the renovation of the hard landscaping and the expansion of the pathway around the memorial is now completed. This was funded in part by the Newnham Garden Seminar Weekend hosted by the Newnham Associates in 2009. We hope that the second phase, the planting, will generate equal enthusiasm amongst our alumnae and we invite you to sponsor your own personal part of the new scheme designed by Head Gardener, Tony Arnold.

We have broken down the overall cost into smaller segments to encourage as many alumnae as possible to 'purchase' a part of the Mound. If you are interested in supporting an entire section of the design let us know and we will ask the Head Gardener to advise us of the exact plants required. With your support, the new scheme will be a feature that can be enjoyed for generations to come. If you would like to contribute, please download the donation form.
