Guild of Friends

Newnham is very lucky to be supported by The Guild of Friends which is registered as a charity separate from the College. Membership of the Guild is now closed but it occupies a special place at the heart of the Friends' Group.

 

The Guild of Friends support a variety of projects around College. Recent initiatives include a significant contribution towards the clock which was commissioned for the Buttery, the commissioning of the lectern for the Lucia Windsor Room, the Benefactors’ Book for the library appeal, and the labelling for the garden tree plan. 

This year the Guild of Friends have supported the publication of The Newnham Year book. They have also donated towards the cost of the display cabinets for the Literary Archive. We are extremely grateful to the Guild of Friends for their support for these special items.
