Join a local alumnae group and make new friends
One of the best things about Newnham is its community. Our local alumnae groups, run by Newnhamites, offer you the chance to reconnect with the Newnham network, to make new friends and catch up with old acquaintances, and to join in with a varied programme of activites, including lunches, talks, walks, and visits to College.
London groups, for those alumnae living and working in London, are split into decades according to matriculation date:
Please note that the individual local groups do not carry their own public liability insurance and that attendance is at guests' own risk. Whilst Newnham is of course delighted that its alumnae meet at venues other than College it will be understood that Newnham does not accept any liability for the activities of the local groups.
Volunteer to represent your year and help us to rally attendance at reunion events 
We are seeking year representatives to help us to rally attendance for reunion events such as Commemoration and Alumni Weekend. This doesn't involve much work – we may ask you to help us to write a letter to your contemporaries to encourage them to attend, or just to be there on the day to help meet and greet. If you would like to volunteer, please email
