Work experience: One week researching and writing articles, mostly for the people and markets section. It may be possible to spend an afternoon with the marketing, sales and subscriptions teams to get a fuller idea of how the business works, if desired. Unpaid. Requirements: An interest in journalism and in finance. You certainly don’t need to be reading economics (not everyone currently in the office has an economics or finance degree!) but some interest in the banking markets is necessary. Nina has offered to arrange a EuroWeek trial subscription beforehand, if preparation would be helpful.
