Function Rooms
Different styles & settings
The College has six main function rooms, available for conferences, day meetings and other functions. Audiovisual and other equipment is available as required.
In the College Hall, the imposing portraits of four of the Victorian founders of the College combine with six lofty south-facing windows to create a grand yet welcoming atmosphere for dinners and receptions.
Sidgwick Hall, the Barbara White Room and the Jane Harrison Room are versatile function rooms.
The Philippa Fawcett Room is suitable for smaller meetings or can even be a conference office.
The Lucia Windsor Room, equipped with state of the art AV equipment and an air conditioning system, is a versatile space that can be divided into two separate meeting rooms. There is also a large foyer outside which can be used for refreshments and as a registration area.
The Old Labs can be used as a function room but is mainly used for performing arts including concerts. It occupies a charming building in the grounds, whose first purpose was as a chemical laboratory. In addition to the main auditorium with its sound and lighting facilities, including front projection for video and Powerpoint, there are two practice rooms and a green room. In the lobby is a display of the building's history which invariably attracts the attention of visitors. Click on the link for a photo.
