On 6 May 2017 Newnham will hold an Engineering Networking Lunch for past and present members of the College. The lunch is intended to welcome back those who read Engineering (of all kinds) and for Newnhamites who may have read other subjects and who now work in the field. The purpose is primarily to help our present Engineering students to make links with former members, to see what opportunities may be open to them and to gain insights into how they might apply their degree. We also hope that former students will use the occasion to meet old friends and make new contacts to strengthen their own professional networks. We very much hope as many of you as possible will come back for this special event.
We will be holding pre-lunch drinks in the SCR from 12.00pm, with lunch in Clough Hall from 12.30pm. We are delighted to be joined by Dr Kate Crawford (NC 1996) who will be our speaker for the event. Director of Studies in Engineering and Deputy Head of the Engineering Department Dr Claire Barlow will be in attendance. Lunch costs £33 for those who matriculated before 2007, and £30 for those who matriculated after, and are earlier on in their careers.
