Seminars on Career Women – Engineering and Project Management

Engineering Lodge Seminar

Two female engineers, at differing stages in their careers, will talk about their careers and chances that brought them there, the highs and not-so-highs, and the nature and quality of their experiences at this free event.

Louise Hardy, BSc CEng FICE CMgr FCMI FWES HonFAPM, pictured left, is a civil engineer and was included in the inaugural listing of the Top 50 Influential Women in Engineering in 2016. Louise’s most notable role was as Infrastructure Director for the Delivery Partner to the Olympic Delivery Authority for the design and construction of the London 2012 Olympic Park.

Patricia Fernandez, pictured right, moved to London in September 2013 after completing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree, and subsequent Masters in Structural Engineering, at the University of Madrid. Patricia has gained experience as a structural design engineer and a project manager through working on complex multimillion pound projects in London including Bond Street Station upgrade and Thames Tideway tunnel.
