Financial Support
Studentships and Grants
Newnham College is able to make generous grants to assist graduate and postgraduate students with the costs of research, attendance at conferences, medical and veterinary electives, book and equipment purchases, and more.
We also offer a number of partially- or fully-funded studentships and bursaries every year. Additional financial support is now available for Graduate Students thanks to a generous donation from the Allan & Nesta Ferguson Trust in honour of Elnora Ferguson (NC 1947).
We also have a welfare fund to which current students may apply for financial assistance to cope with short-term problems or emergencies. For those of you with children, the College participates in the Colleges Childcare Bursary Scheme, which makes awards to student-parents.
