Other PostsWorking at Newnham CollegeNewnham College is an educational charity, founded in 1871 to promote academic excellence for women. Its primary purposes today are still education, learning and research. The College employs many different groups of non-academic staff - clerical staff, gardeners, porters, housekeeping, kitchens and maintenance. When there are vacancies, jobs will be advertised on this website and often in the Cambridge Evening News or other specialist magazines (for example, The Caterer). The College is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to the principle of equality regardless of race, colour, ethnic or national origin, religious belief, political opinion or affiliation, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, age or disability. The College seeks to apply employment policies which are fair, equitable and consistent with the skills and abilities of its staff and the needs of the College. The College expects each member of staff to support the implementation of these policies to ensure that all staff are accorded equal opportunity for recruitment, training and promotion and, in all jobs of like work, are employed on equal terms and conditions of employment. |
