Undergraduate AdmissionsApplying for a place at NewnhamNewnham...a college for women at the heart of Cambridge
Newnham is a friendly, vibrant college with a real intellectual buzz and a social life to suit all tastes. But it is also an ideal launch pad for making the most of everything the university as a whole has to offer: from sport to seminars, plays to politics. These pages will tell you why. Our Prospectus provides you with a useful overview of the College. Alternatively, all of the information is also available on this website, with sections covering student life (have a look at our film!), the application process, funding and our open events. You can also find out more about our School Liaison Initiative, including specific information for teachers. We try to answer the question, "Why Newnham?" here.
You might like to read these pages together with the Cambridge University Undergraduate Prospectus. More detail about specific courses can be found on the Faculty and Department websites - for a directory, click here.
If you have questions unanswered after reading these pages, click here, or contact the Admissions Office. Our Admissions Tutor, Dr Sam Lucy, our Admissions Coordinator, Ms Felicity Macdonald-Smith, and our Schools Liaison Officer, Ms Ruth Holmes, look forward to hearing from you and will be pleased to help in any way they can.
