Newnham College wishes to appoint a Chef de Partie to join the Kitchen Brigade.
The Catering Department is the focus of much activity that is important both to the daily life of the College and to the perception of the College by visitors and conference guests. It is important that the Catering Department maintain the highest standards possible consistent with service required and the resources available.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience and be capable of producing fresh imaginative food within a seven day operation.
You will have the relevant City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ 1,2,3 and basic food hygiene qualifications, be conscientious, have good communication skills, be able to lead a team and work alone, and be able to relate well to others.
