The Lockdown has proved to be a catalyst for the Newnham Anthology: a wide-ranging gathering of reflections and recollections of College life for the 150th Anniversary.

Spring-cleaning and de-cluttering have sent alumnae, students and the wider Newnham community into their attics and those of their parents and grand-parents. Letters home from undergraduate days and journal entries have re-surfaced. Furlough has allowed others to write and put the finishing touches to their contributions. The Anthology will be much the richer for it. Thank you.

Now it is more important than ever that the Anthology meets its production schedule. The deadline for contributions is 1 June 2020 so please send any contributions to by this date. Anything submitted after this will be lodged in the College Archives to await a subsequent anniversary.
