Personal Information Form (PIF)
Thank you to those of you who replied to our Personal Information Questionnaire sent to 7,293 Newnhamites worldwide in March 2015.
The Development and Roll Office aims to conduct this exercise once every five years to keep the alumnae database up to date so you don’t miss out on College news or exciting activities. We also used this opportunity to gather feedback on our events, merchandise and the Changing Lives Campaign.
We are delighted that the response to the PIF was very high with 34 per cent of those contacted returning the form. We gathered lots of useful feedback on our events programme and the merchandise we have on offer. Almost 50 per cent of those who responded have been to one of our events and nearly 500 alumnae purchased merchandise for their own enjoyment and 250 as presents for others.
We learned that out of those who provided us with employment details, over 400 work in academia or research. In accordance with Newnham’s longstanding tradition of contributing to society, 30 per cent have been appointed to trusteeships, directorships or voluntary positions and more than 40 per cent of the responders were involved with music when they were at the College.
