Commemoration 4-5 April Has Been Postponed
We are sorry to write to inform you that, due to the global concerns around COVID-19, the College has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Commemoration weekend programme (4-5 April 2020).
We recognise that Commemoration is an important event for many of you, and we will endeavour to reschedule to an alternative date later in 2020, subject to ongoing developments.
Full refunds will be given to all who have booked to attend Commemoration 2020. The Development Office Events Manager, Katie Edwards, will telephone all individuals due to attend over the coming days to ensure that the information regarding the cancellation and associated refunds is disseminated to all affected. In the meantime, if you have any immediate questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the Development team (roll@newn.cam.ac.uk).
We are deeply sorry to postpone this event as we know that many of you were looking forward to returning to Newnham and seeing old friends. We hope that you will understand why the College feels that it is the correct course of action given the circumstances.
