Join us at Newnham College for a rare opportunity to watch Life Story – the race for the double helix.

The award-winning film stars Juliet Stevenson as Newnham’s Rosalind Franklin and it tells the story of the rivalries of the two teams of scientists attempting to discover the structure of DNA.

The screening has been organised as part of the Cambridge Science Festival.

It is the second event held at Newnham as part of the Science Festival, the first is a programme of talks celebrating the work of iconic female scientists Franklin and Dorothy Hodgkin.

Entrance is on a first come, first served basis.
