The principal was delighted to welcome 40 Mathematics alumnae and students to a Drinks reception and Lunch in the Principal`s Lodge on Saturday 16 March 2019.
This was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen connections and celebrate our new University Teaching Officer for Mathematics, Dr Maria Ubiali, who joined us as Director of Studies and Sheila Edmonds Fellow.
Our guests were delighted to hear more about Newnham’s vision for Mathematics in the future. The Principal shared news on College, followed by Dr Maria Ubiali who presented her vision and plans for Mathematics at Newnham. Heather Self also provided interesting insights into her professional journey and career, showing the possibilities for our Mathematics students of the future.
