Boat Club shortlisted for the University Crew of the Year at the British Rowing Awards

The Newnham College Boat Club 1st VII crew of 2018-19 have been shortlisted for the University Crew of the Year at the British Rowing Awards.

This award is for university crews with outstanding achievements in the 2019 calendar year, or over the course of the 2018/19 season.

NCBC Captain Jasmine Wells said “Newnham are delighted with this national acknowledgement of the great work our rowers, coaches and cox do. Rowing is a great community within Newnham, fostering support between the MCR and the JCR. I’ve loved my time being captain and I look forwards to many more years of success for NCBC and the Griffins.”
