I first joined Newnham as a Junior Research Fellow, and am now Director of Studies and Special Supervisor in Music, and Director of Music for the College.
My research and teaching centres on music of the late nineteenth century, and early twentieth century (particularly French); my articles, reviews and translations have appeared in 19th-Century Music, Music and Letters, Cambridge Opera Journal, Fontes Artis Musicae, Music Analysis, and Cultural and Social History.
