I completed my PhD in 2018 at the Centre for Family Research, University of Cambridge, examining the transition to parenthood in heterosexual couples, with a particular focus on prenatal influences on the parent-infant relationship.
My post-doctoral research is based at the Centre for Family Research and explores parent-child relationship quality and child development in new family forms (e.g., those created through assisted reproductive technologies). I am also involved in an international longitudinal study of first-time parents, with a particular focus on changes in parents’ thoughts and feelings about their child. My previous work has included studies of pre-adolescent adjustment and assisting with the creation of a ‘school-readiness’ questionnaire.
