Christopher Moncrieff is a poet, linguist and literary translator from French, German and Romanian, and speaks several other European languages. After a professional military career he went on to produce multi-media and son-et-lumière shows in Germany, France, Britain and America, and travelled extensively in Central and Eastern Europe. He studied Theology at Pembroke College, Oxford and has qualifications in design as well as on the military staff, and is a Bye-Fellow of Lucy Cavendish College. He has also worked as a mentor for young adults on the autism spectrum.

He is currently working on a new collection of poetry, as well as a cycle of prose-poem novellas written from a neurodivergent, non-binary perspective. The culture and languages of Central and Eastern Europe are also a major interest.
