Biography
Ruth Cameron gained a degree in Natural Sciences and a PhD in Physics from Newnham College, Cambridge before joining Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge. She is now Senior Fellow and Director of Studies in Physical Natural Sciences at Lucy Cavendish College and joint Head of Department within the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy.
Research Interests
Professor Cameron works in the field of medical and pharmaceutical materials and directs the Cambridge Centre for Medical Materials in the Materials Science Department in Cambridge. Her research concerns materials that interact therapeutically with the body.
