Alumnae Relations Assistant (full time, permanent)

£25,217 per annum

About the role

As we look ahead to celebrating 150 years of learning and ideas at Newnham College in 2021, we are growing and developing our alumnae relations programme. From distinguished researchers to famous actors, from recent graduates to centenarians, we are proud of the strength of our alumnae community, and their support for our college.

This newly created role provides an opportunity for a ‘people person’ with an interest in developing their experience in the growing field of development and alumni relations. The post-holder will play an important part in delivering a full and varied programme of events, and increasing the reach and quality of our alumnae communications (particularly digital communications).

About you

You will already have experience of writing for varied audiences, engaging with social media and developing digital content. You will be organised and imaginative, willing to develop your skills and to learn on the job. This will be an exciting role for someone who wants to suggest and try out new approaches, and to analyse what works.

You will enjoy being part of a small and dynamic team, level-headed when you face challenges, comfortable dealing with very senior people, and motivated by the prospect of a job which needs flexibility as well as forward planning.
